JOB OPENING AT DIRECT

DIRECT Center for Independence, Inc., a non-profit agency that offers people with disabilities the opportunity to increase their independence, is seeking a full-time, 40-hr. per wk. Independent Living Skills Coach. Responsibilities relate to development and facilitation of life skills training classes and supporting the efforts of people in achieving their personal goals. Applicants must have: A Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience in rehabilitation, social work, education or related field; Proficiency with MS Office; Ability to pass a criminal background check; Must hold a valid AZ Driver’s License and possess own transportation.  Open until filled. ATTENTION DIRECT VISITORS!

Beginning Monday, May 14, 2012, demolition will begin on the property across the street from DIRECT. There will be a lot of noise and some dust involved. Anyone visiting DIRECT who has respiratory problems should take proper precautions.

Immediately following demolition, construction of a 14 story high-rise will commence and continue for the next 16 months.
