As a Board Member of DIRECT Center for Independence, Inc., I understand my duties and responsibilities include:

1. I am responsible, along with other members of the Board, for this organization. It is my responsibility to advance the mission of DIRECT, set policies, determine short and long range direction, and evaluate activities/services including: budget, fund raising, and raise public awareness of DIRECT.
   


2. I agree to:
   
   
1. Conduct myself in an ethical manner.
2. Endeavor to attend all Board Meetings.
3. Assist in identifying resources for the work of DIRECT.
4. Participate in at least one committee, ad-hoc committee or special project of the Board.
5. Contribute financial support to the organization each year, and be willing to ask others to do so.
